Description Fiona Borthwick 2016-11-29 13:14:12 UTC
One of our customers has reported a problem since upgrading to 16.05 with the cataloguing module. This is specific to IE11 and is reproducible.

Frameworks are not saving when the record is edited.

Edit Record - Click on Settings drop down
Select an alternative framework

Nothing happens at all - the framework does not change

I cannot reproduce this issue using Chrome but some libraries are not able to use any other browser than IE so this is quite a fundamental problem for them.

also autocomplete fields are not populating in a new biblio record when using IE11.

We have had another few customers report this problem too. It is often the case that they do not have any use of a different browser so it is causing major problems for them.
Comment 3 Katrin Fischer 2020-09-21 19:36:13 UTC
It was recently decided that we will no longer support IE. Firefox, Chrome or Edge are recommended. See also: bug 26305
