---- Reported by oleonard@myacpl.org 2008-04-08 09:52:25 ---- The circulation screen needs to offer more detailed information about why a patron is blocked from checking out. For instance: if a patron has more outstanding fines than the noissuescharge system pref allows, that patron will be blocked from checking out. But the warning on the circ screen is the same as before their outstanding fines exceeded the limit: "Fines: Patron has Outstanding fines." The page might also give a similar message about overdues, "Overdues: Patron has ITEMS OVERDUE," with the same weight as the fines warning. The template needs to be able to determine which warning message relates to the reason for the block on the patron's account and offer relevant information: "Outstanding fines exceed <noissuescharge>. Checkouts blocked." ---- Additional Comments From jmf@liblime.com 2008-04-10 02:02:27 ---- Re-assigning to Galen ---- Additional Comments From jmf@liblime.com 2008-07-07 21:25:40 ---- This will require some re-factoring of circulation, it's definitely something we need to do, but I'm afraid it won't make it into 3.0, so I'm assigning it to rel_3_2 --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 00:37 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 2003 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2003 Actual time not defined.
