Created attachment 80363 [details] Edit record I have installed koha and my default language is english. I have additionally installed polish, french and ukrainian languages but when i switch to them in edit item/record page field/subfield names are not translated and items table has headers written in english. Most of those names are translated in corresponding .po files, but it still shows english text. Is there any way to solve this issue?
These values are not translatable (yet?), those strings are stored in the database.
Hi, this is not a bug. There are po files for those strings, but they are used to generate SQL files that can be chosen when installing Koha for the first time. Note: this will only work, if a installer exists for the specific language. When Koha is already installed, you can change those descriptions under: Administration > Bibliographic MARC frameworks
I would consider it a bug, see bug 13897 that tries to fix it but for authority frameworks.
I think you can't say they are not translatable, but you require a web installer in your language and that would be required with a changed process as well. What is asked for here was multi-language... and that is much harder.
