---- Reported by adrea@moablibrary.org 2009-02-25 18:58:46 ---- When a patron's card expires, you can click on the renew link on the check out page to renew their account. When you do this KOHA does not catch inconsistencies with the patron category rules that you set up in Admin. For example when our patron's turn 18 they go from juvenile to adult card holders. Our juvenile cards have an upper age limit of 17 years. This renew feature doesn't catch the inconsistency after their 18th birthday. For an example of what it should do - click and "edit" the account of a patron whose age has become incorrect for their category (they just turned 18). Then you'll get the following message... * Patron's age is incorrect for their category. Ages allowed are 0 to 17. From our library's perspective accounts that "break" the rules set up for their assigned patron category should not be able to renew until the inconsistency is resolved. --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 01:05 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 2985 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2985 Actual time not defined.
