---- Reported by nengard@gmail.com 2009-12-16 00:26:51 ---- When I generated next serial (using the generate next button) it marked an expected issue late - but it's not late - it too is expected, I just wanted to have a list of expected issues so I could receive them all at once. Before the most recent update this was how it worked - not sure why it was changed. --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 01:21 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 3931 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3931 Actual time not defined. Nicole, isn't misc/cronjob/serialsUpdate.pl doing what you're looking for : ie = automatically mark "late" issues that should have been recieved and generate the next "expected" ?
Paul, I was reporting for a third party. I have gotten used to this procedure, but the idea was if I'm adding in a bunch of serials at once I generate next a bunch of times and then edit them all and mark them received. The fact that it's marked late if the date has not yet passed when it was 'expected' was the problem. If it's not an issue for most people I'll just update the manual to make it clear that 'generate next' will mark previous un-received issues as 'late'. Nicole
I agree with you, it's a strange behaviour to have something marked late if it's not late. Marking resolved/wontfix then
