On the add template page for patron cards there is a link to add a printer profile.  Clicking it brings you to a 404 error.  When fixing the link you should have it open in a new window cause if you have added all your info and click that link you're taken to a new page and lose all of your info if you don't know to hit the back button...

Opening a new window would still require the original window to be refreshed to pickup the new profile in the drop down and so causing the loss of entries on the form.

The desired effect could be done with the use of some ajax type scripting, but that is beyond the scope of this fix. I would suggest opening an enhancement request for that feature.
