---- Reported by colin.campbell@ptfs-europe.com 2010-04-01 14:42:25 ---- In the icam family of sip2 products, the patron info responses return a parental consent flag to allow child users access to resourses authenticated over sip. As evergreen is using PI to indicate whether the user has internet permissions and we are returning values in it already, I propose to populate this based on data. Suggest like Evergreen we keep this a generic internet resources object usuable in non generational contexts. --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 01:26 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 4363 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4363 Actual time not defined. Setting to 0.0 Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
The way PI currently operates is return if the patron is not debarred or expired. This is semantically different from the usage by Icam so (as someone maybe using PI on Koha for envisionware) We've agreed to supply a field PG to indicate that parental permissions have been granted
Just wandering through old bugs with my bug wranglers hat on and noticed this one. A quick check of C4/SIP/ILS/Patron.pm doesn't show a PG flag in the C4::Members::patronflags being used to set anything in the %ilspatron structure. Is this something that is still required (considering the bug was filed 9 years ago)?
Martin or Kyle, could you have a look at this old bug from Colin please?
(In reply to Katrin Fischer from comment #4) > Martin or Kyle, could you have a look at this old bug from Colin please? Enhancement bug filed 12 years ago. Definitely something that could be implemented but a plan would need to be developed. Considering the length of time since filing I'd like to know from Martin if it's still needed.
I can't remember who was using this but it hasn't come up in upgrades any time recently.. lets kill it off here
