Description Chris Nighswonger 2010-10-08 12:48:56 UTC
Presently the advanced item due notices are sent per item. Thus, patrons with multiple items checked out receive a number of notices equal to the number of items checked out. This appears strikingly similar to spam.

Notices should include a single list of items due so that only one notice is sent per patron.

This bug is still valid, but I don't know when I'll have time to work on it, so I'm resetting the assignee.
Comment 2 Katrin Fischer 2013-02-27 17:21:20 UTC
I think this is working now - predue and due notices offer a digest option that allows to send a list of items instead of single mails per item. Marking resolved fixed. - Not sure if version should be reset to this does not end up in the release notes by accident?
Comment 3 Chris Nighswonger 2013-02-27 17:26:58 UTC
The version should probably be changed to reflect whichever version it was fixed in, imho.
Comment 4 Peggy Thrasher 2013-11-08 22:01:42 UTC
The digest version simply states the number of items that will be due, it doesn't list the titles. So the patron either gets too much email, or too little information. Can we reopen this bug?
Comment 5 Katrin Fischer 2013-11-10 23:01:35 UTC
Hi Peggy, you can list item information in the digests too - I think by using <<items.content>>. I know we do it, but can't check the templates right now.
