Description Elaine Bradtke 2010-10-28 13:59:25 UTC
In the staff interface - I ran a search that resulted in about 40
hits. I selected six of them. When I tried to save the selected items
to a list, it presented me with a list of completely different titles that were not in the original hit list. Looking closely, the actual bib record that the short title linked to was for the subsequent title in the database. The OPAC is
doing the same thing.
This behavior started shortly after I downloaded a record from the OPAC.
I've tested it on Chrome and Firefox from a PC and Firefox from a Mac (OS X), the same thing happened.
There are a couple items in my cart in the OPAC from a previous search and they still link to the correct information. But any searches I do link from the short record to the wrong information.
Browsing the shelf in the Opac brings up correct records.

We re-imported our MARC files, having fixed a minor problem in the 008 field of the authority files and the problem seems to have resolved itself.
