Description Liz Rea 2012-12-18 22:46:09 UTC
Search to hold doesn't seem to be passing the borrower through to the reserves screen anymore - everything works until you click "place hold for <borrower>" - and then you have to search for the patron again.

I thought this used to dump you straight into place hold, the screen just after you search for a patron in the usual process, the one with the "place hold" button.

Do note this doesn't seem to happen in master.

I checked out origin/3.8.x and could not reproduce the problem. Is there a specific version I should test?
Comment 3 Liz Rea 2012-12-30 19:39:47 UTC
IT could be related to translations? I was using a translation when I observed the problem - let me try that again. :)
Comment 4 Liz Rea 2012-12-31 00:53:02 UTC
AHA. This doesn't work when the borrower doesn't have a cardnumber - most places require it, but search to hold won't work without a cardnumber. Maybe STH should use borrowernumber instead?
Comment 5 Liz Rea 2012-12-31 01:06:49 UTC
(where STH is Search To Hold, of course.)
Comment 6 Liz Rea 2013-02-10 20:20:05 UTC
Seems to be working in all circumstances in current master. Will reopen if I come across it again.
