Description Nicole C. Engard 2013-02-19 18:58:18 UTC
When in the Z search results if you click 'Card' you get the following error:

Software error:

Could not create file parser context for file "/home/nengard/kohaclone/koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/ccsr/en/xslt/compact.xsl": No such file or directory at /home/nengard/kohaclone/catalogue/showmarc.pl line 62.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (webmaster@debian), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

This is in 3.8, 3.10 and master.

I assume the error only happens if you have the CCSR theme selected for the OPAC?

Nope, it happens in 3.8.8 which doesn't have CCSR and the error is in the staff client - not the OPAC.

In 3.8.8:

The "error 500" message appears when staff try to view the results for ISBN
9781619138636 in "Card" format.

To recreate this problem do the following:
1. Go to the Cataloging module.
2. Click the Z39.50 Search button.
3. Do an ISBN search for: 9781619138636
4. You will get 3 titles
5. Click "Card" for any of the records and you will get the "error 500"
message.
6. Close this window.
7. Click "MARC" and you will see the Marc just fine

In my test the error happens when the CCSR theme is enabled for the OPAC and doesn't happen when the prog theme is enabled. The same is true when I check out 3.8.x running off the same database and manually switch the 'opacthemes' preference between 'prog' and 'ccsr' in the database. Looks like the XSL template-switching logic is to blame.

Okay, it might be 2 different errors. One in 3.8 (comment #3) and one in 3.10+ (original post).

And it seems to be specific to that ISBN. I'm going to close this and start over.
