Description Hend 2013-03-20 08:54:10 UTC
I can't add new Search index because "Add" button is disabled.
Koha version : 3.10.03.000
Search Engine : Solr

I found tried to reproduce your bug, the "Add" button seems to work, it just appears as plain text, but it can be clicked provided you enter the details for the new search index. Maybe this has been fixed since your bug report was created.

I did find however that saving led to a YAML_DUMP_ERR_FILE_OUTPUT.
Manually adding the search index into the indexes.yaml works, so it must be that it won't properly format it when adding to the file (it says that the file/directory does not exist, but it must be able to see it as the page would not display existing indexes if it couldn't see it).

I'll continue try to figure out why it won't dump the index config into the indexes.yaml. I'll also make it so "Add" seems properly like a button.

Nevermind, was a problem on my end.
I created the directories through root, and mykoha-koha couldn't write to the indexes file.

Currently , i could add a new search index through the staff client. But as you had said it's not added to indexes.yaml.

Does it allow for you to save once you've added the new index?
Or does it go to an error screen?
Comment 5 Hend 2014-01-21 08:39:37 UTC
Yes, it allows me . I put the index information and click add then i click save.
I don't get an error screen.

The solr code has been removed from Koha.
