Description Liz Rea 2019-07-16 16:51:54 UTC
I'd really like to see this interface become more like If This Then That (IFTTT)

so instead of

"age in days" "conditions" and "substitutions"

we'd have

After <X> days, items that are labeled <field> [and <field 1> and <field 2> and <branch>] change to <other field> [and <other field 1> and <other field 2>

^ this would constitute one rule.

Thoughts?

When buliding things like that, keep translations in mind. If you turn things into sentences, it might not work for all languages in the same way (different grammar, different sequence of field required, etc.)

Especially problematic if the same text strings are used in different contexts - see bug 15395 and bug 11285 for discussions
