This doesn't sound like a bug at all. Tags should not appear in the OPAC without being moderated. Otherwise, what's the point of the moderation system? Just saying how it used to work ... it was a nice feature (even if it wasn't a feature) for librarians who didn't want to deal with patrons asking why their tags weren't approved. In the past if a patron tagged an item they saw their own tag (and only they saw it) even if it wasn't approved by the librarian. This is the same thing that happens with comments - patrons can see their own comments even if they haven't been approved yet. I agree - not a bug, working as intended. Since I like the feature as described by Nicole I'd like to change this to an enhancement request (for what it's worth). I think it would make sense to have it work this way. Do we still think this is a cool idea? |
