With the 19.05 upgrade, the Holds Awaiting Pickup lists in Circulation sort by the patron's firstname as opposed to their surname. Holds are on the shelf by surname, to protect patron privacy. I feel like this is a SOP for most systems, but if it isn't, it should be a preference we can set. Thanks! -Marti Fuerst Huntsville-Madison County Public Library
Created attachment 95347 [details] [review] Bug 24024: Invert names on halds waiting report
Hi, Can I just check how to test this change so the bug can be signed off?
Place a few holds for several patrons and set them all to waiting (check in, confirm the hold) Browse to Circulation->Holds awaiting pickup Try sorting the table on the patron's name Before patch: It sorts using firstname, and patron name is displayed as: Firtname Surname After patch: It sorts using lastname and patron name is displayed as: Surname, Firstname

halds => holds
Nice work! Pushed to master for 19.11.00
(In reply to Marcel de Rooy from comment #7) > halds => holds Hmm Forgot to obsolete the first patch.
Will this get backdated to 19.05? It's currently a hassle and a half in regard to managing our holds shelves. -Marti Fuerst Hunstville-Madison County Public Library
I second Marti's comment. Our staff would really love to see this fixed. Rhonda Kuiper
backported to 19.05.x for 19.05.06
