It would be cool if we could click a button to text ourselves (or someone else) a call number at the library. This should be an option from the cart next to each item or a way to send the entire cart this way.

I think with the ubiquity of web-capable mobile devices this feature would be of limited use now.

I think that's quite possible, but I don't think the original request arose from that point of view. I'm fine with keeping the bug open if the idea seems like something that might fulfill a real need.

The setup for texts is not easy as it seems often there is no SMS:Driver available for local network providers. There were also legal issues brought up in the past (India IIRC). Could displaying a QR code to scan be nice?
