Add order to basket: From an existing record

In Acquisitions, under Add order to basket > From an existing record, one of our staff members frequently adds records to the basket that are already in the catalog. The default in ‘From an existing record’ is set to a key word function. She reported she can type in the title of an item and may get 200 items that she has to scroll through to find the one she needs. She would like to know if the default can be changed to key on the exact words instead of any words?

I have attached an image she submitted to us.

Thanks,

Geanina King

I think we can't change this in genearal, but it's possible to use ccl queries in this field, so you could type: ti,phr:search terms
This will achieve what was asked for here.

Maybe another idea for bigger catalogs would be to have something like an 'advanced search' option. Or an "search to order" feature that would give us all the search capabilities of the normal catalog search - I filed bug 24347 for this idea.
