Description Tomás Cohen Arazi 2014-11-13 13:01:31 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

- Create an item
- Choose no source of classification
- Save the item
- Re-open the item for edit
=> FAIL: the $2 is set to the default (DefaultClassificationSource)
Comment 1 Cori Lynn Arnold 2019-11-15 01:11:26 UTC
Confirmed this is the behavior in 19.05.
Comment 2 Katrin Fischer 2019-11-24 14:31:14 UTC
This doesn't sound wrong to me - if you don't set any default classification source it will cause problems with cn_sort - so it makes sense to enforce the default if nothing is selected.

Maybe the subfield should be made mandatory by default?
Comment 3 Katrin Fischer 2023-07-09 11:42:00 UTC
Still appears to be intended behaviour for me :) Please reopen if you disagree!
