Description Nick Clemens (kidclamp) 2015-12-14 17:33:38 UTC
The dropdowns next to the text box inputs differ on the Staff-client and OPAC

Staff includes/OPAC is missing:
Language
Publication date
Acquisition date
Corporate name as phrase

Series title is nested under Title in Staff, toplevel in OPAC

There are a few more examples, but these illustrate the point.

bug 2467 says this is by design, but I would say they should mirror each other as closely as possible
Comment 1 Katrin Fischer 2020-01-08 22:21:48 UTC
I also believe this to be by design:

location
language
= only work when codes are entered, so this is more an expert feature.

acquisition-date
= also requires a special format YYYY-MM-DD

Changing some others and adding them to the OPAC might be debatable, but I see a pointin offering more options to staff users than to OPAC users.
