Description Chris Cormack 2010-05-21 00:37:02 UTC

---- Reported by nengard@gmail.com 2008-04-05 15:20:28 ----

At PLA a librarian asked me if we could offer an ILL option in addition accepting and rejecting a purchase suggestion - this way the patron knows that the library will get the book for them - but not buy it for their collection.

You can inform the patron that something is available via ILL by creating a SUGGEST value.
But there is no category for ILL in the suggestion module on current master.

Nicole,
can you explain in more detail how this should work?
Comment 3 Nicole C. Engard 2011-11-05 19:03:03 UTC
In addition to Accepted, Rejected, Checked, Pending there would be an ILL option on the pull down for suggestions noting to the patron that the library will get this via ILL. That said I would think saying 'Rejected' with a reason of 'We'll get this via ILL' would be enough. So I'm closing this.
