To reproduce: 1) Create two budgets -- let's say 'Budget 2014' and 'Budget 2015' 2) Create 'Books 2014' in Budget 2014 and 'Books 2015' in Budget 2015. 3) Mark Budget 2014 as inactive 4) Try to receive some orders, in accounting details the fund dropdown has funds from inactive budgets too
Funds from inactive budgets are also appearing under the 'Acquisition Information' area of a purchase suggestion. 1) Try to create a new purchase suggestion 2) Look in the 'Fund' dropdown under the 'Acquisition information' section 3) Funds from both active and inactive budgets will appear Should I open a new bug for this?
I agree. It would be helpful to have a 'show inactive' checkbox next to the fund dropdown so that you could only display funds from other budget years when needed. I think the same thing would be beneficial in the acquisitions information in patron suggestions.
Since we have a lot of inactive budgets, it's a little confusing to sift through all the old ones that shouldn't show up. It would be nice if only the active ones show up!
I agree 100 percent. Our acquisitions staff member regularly grumbles about this!
This has been fixed a while ago. Inactive funds now only show when you tick the checkbox asking for them.
