---- Reported by oleonard@myacpl.org 2009-01-10 10:10:27 ---- It would improve the utility of the holds ratios report if librarians could filter the report by itemtype, collection code, and branch. I'm sure many systems do ordering from individual branches. Our library has different librarians ordering different kinds of materials (Fiction, Kids, Movies, etc). Our AV orderer would want to only see AV holds in the report. --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 00:57 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 2906 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2906 Actual time not defined. This is still valid - filtering in the hold ratio report is limited to the hold ratio, start date, and end date.
Still would appreciate more filtering on the holds ratio report, especially by Itemtype and branch. It would also be helpful if one could see how many items were held by each branch, and how many holds were from each branch.
Yes! Please, it would be very helpful to have the built-in tool have further capabilities. Filtering by itemtype, collection code, and branch as well as being able to toggle "include on-hold items" as well as toggles for other item statuses like lost, withdrawn, damaged, etc. Sure, we can create a SQL report to show us these things, but the ease of use would be greatly appreciated.
One thing to consider here: we can't assume that all items on a record have the same itemtype/collection/homebranch, but I believe the hold ratio is calculated for all items on a record. How should it calculate when the filters are used, only for the filtered items?
That's how I envisioned it (filtering by selection). I am not familiar with how close of an inspection the current hold ratio report has for checking item types, home branches, etc. That's an excellent point, though! It gets tricky fast.
Our selectors asked for a way to remove items with the location Express from consideration in the ratios. Item types assigned to our Express location are non-holdable. Would it be feasible to at least add a checkbox option that would exclude item types that listed as No Holds Allowed under "Default holds policy by item type" in the circulation rules?
