Sometimes a patron cancels a hold in error. They can place a new hold, but end up at the end of the priority list. It would be patron-friendly to allow a hold cancellation grace period -- a window in which a patron can recover a cancelled hold at their original priority. For the first X hours after the hold is cancelled, the patron can still see the hold on the OPAC and is given a button to recover the hold. After X hours, the hold is no longer shown to the patron and cannot be recovered.
