Description Lucy Vaux-Harvey 2022-11-16 10:46:53 UTC
The warning message that displays when you select the Clean a file in Staged MARC management is as follows:

"Clear all reservoir records staged in this batch? This cannot be undone."

It would be helpful to also make clear in the message that once a file is 'cleaned' it will no longer be possible to use the 'Undo import into catalog' option to remove a file of imported records from the catalogue.

We have instances where a file has been cleaned but the library still require to remove the records from the catalogue at a later stage. These records then need to be identified separately and deleted using batch record deletion.
