Description Caroline Cyr La Rose 2023-10-05 15:57:13 UTC
I was trying to further simplify the Fast Add bibliographic framework for a client and collapsing 245$h, 245$n, and 245$p doesn't work. I've only had the problem with field 245. I think it may be related to the fact that in the FA framework, it's in tab 0, but I'm not sure.

To recreate:
1. Go to Administration > MARC bibliographic framework
2. Click Actions > MARC structure next to the Fast Add Framework
3. Click Actions > Edit subfields next to the 245 field
4. Change visibility of subfields as follows:
   - 6: uncheck Editor
   - 8: uncheck editor
   - a: (leave as is)
   - b: (leave as is)
   - c: (leave as is)
   - d: uncheck Editor
   - e: uncheck Editor
   - f: uncheck Editor
   - g: uncheck Editor
   - h: check Collapsed
   - k: uncheck Editor
   - n: check Collapsed
   - p: check Collapsed
   - s: uncheck Editor
5. Click Save changes
6. Go to Cataloging
7. Click the arrow next to New record and choose Fast Add Framework
8. Scroll down to 245
--> h, n, and p are visible but should be collapsed

I've had this problem as far as 22.05. I don't know for versions before that.

I think there might be some specific rule for 245 that prevents it from being hidden (which might go a bit too far here)
