A patron likes the author, Louise Penny, and if they could create a saved search for Louise Penny books, they could see all Louise Penny books the library has. Or even better, a patron loves audiobooks, and would like to create a saved search to show all 'newly acquired' audio books. Then when the patron logs in, they can see any updates to their saved searches. There is an option for staff to create saved searches, but it would be nice to have patrons have the same functionality.
+1 great idea
Does your request not match what is already implemented in the OPAC search history? koha/opac-search-history.pl
(In reply to Mathieu Saby from comment #2) > Does your request not match what is already implemented in the OPAC search > history? koha/opac-search-history.pl The search history contains all searches a user has made and doesn't provide an option to describe or store them permanently in their account. Also often they are treated as temporary data and deleted automatically by the cleanup scripts.
Thank you for clarification
