Description Kelly McElligott 2024-07-22 15:46:56 UTC
It would be nice if the option of the protected status for patrons to be optional by patron category. So when a library creates a new patron within this patron category, then the protected status is automatically applied.

+1 For instance, we have all of our SIP user patrons in a specific patron category and have added the protected status. It would be nice to know that any future SIP users were auto protected instead of having to remember to do it as a separate process. Or forgetting to do it all together.

Yes! I would love to see this ability in Koha. It would save account editing time for admin staff and protect accounts from the beginning.
