Description Chris Slone 2022-02-16 17:10:59 UTC
After the implementation of bug 20212, the Filter Box is no longer available when receiving items on an invoice. In the same bug the column filters were eventually restored, but not the box on the left hand side that allowed filtering by specifying the following fields:

ISBN,author, title| Basket name: | Basket Group name| Orderline

The filter box is still referenced and shown in the Koha manual for 21.05, for what it's worth: https://koha-community.org/manual//21.05/en/html/acquisitions.html#receiving-orders

To (not) see the filter box:
1.) Go to Acqusitions>Invoices and select an invoice
2.) Click on 'Got to receipt page' (under Adjustments section)
3.) The receiving page will load with no filter box on the left (page with have a url like '/cgi-bin/koha/acqui/parcel.pl?invoiceid=xxxx')

Hi Chris,
Aren't the filters at the top of the columns enough for your need?

Hi Jonathan,

My Tech Services staff is making due without the filter box, but they've expressed that they very much would like to have it back. The biggest issue they are reporting is that the ISBN/author/title search now has to be done via the 'Summary' column filter or the generic 'search' filter above the column filters. In one staff member's words, "The main issue [is] the isbn/title search which [is] very [s]low through the summary search. The 'search' field at the top is much faster but it will often not bring all the titles up or it may require me to remove some of the isbn number to get the correct item."
