Description Martin Renvoize (ashimema) 2023-12-21 11:30:39 UTC
Bug 21699 introduces the option to edit a circulation message (patron message).. but if the patrons already seen the message, there's no way for them to ever see the update.

Was this intentional.. or should there be an option to re-issue the patron message.

Sounds like an edited message should be treated as if it was a new message.

I agree, an edited message should remove the patron_read_date information. Ideally it would have some indicator that the message had been edited but do we store that information?
